The Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science is organizing the 9th Climate Change
Quiz Program for students of engineering and Science on Thursday 14th September 2017 at the J.N.Tata Auditorium Indian Institute of
Science. The main goal is to promote awareness on the science of climate change and techniques for
mitigation.The broad topic for the quiz is climate science and renewable energy technology. This will include questions on weather, climate, atmosphere
and oceans, and renewable energy (such as solar and wind). Cash prizes of Rs.10,000, Rs.6,000 and Rs.4,000 will be awarded to the
first, second and third teams, respectively. All the participants in the program will receive a certificate of participation.
